Age Limit:
For Group ‘C’: 18 to 30 Years
For Erstwhile Group ‘D’: 18 to 33 Years
Pay Scale:
For Group ‘C’: Level in CPC 2, GP ₹ 1900/-
For Erstwhile Group ‘D’: Level in CPC 2, GP ₹ 1800/-
Minimum Educational Qualifications:
Group C: 12th (Matric with +2 stage) or its equivalent examination with not less than 50% marks in the aggregate. 50% marks is not to be insisted upon in case of SC/ST/Ex-Servicemen & for the candidate of any category possessing higher Qualification.
Erstwhile Group D: Passed Class 10th or ITI or equivalent or National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT/ SCVT.
Scouting/ Guiding Qualification:
(1) President’s Scout/ Guide/ Rover/ Ranger OR Himalayan Wood Badge (HWB) holder in any section.
(2) Should have been an active member of a Scouts Organization for the least 5 years. The “Certificate of Activeness” (and)
(3) Should have attended two events at National level or All Indian Railways’ level and two events at State level.
Selection Process:
Written Test (60 Marks)
Marks on certificates (40 Marks)
Examination Fee: A non-refundable fee of ₹ 400/- only for General (UR) Category Candidates. For candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-servicemen, PWD, Women, Minorities and Economically Backward Classes ₹ 250/- only with a provision for refunding the same to those who actually appear in the written examination. The Exam fee should be paid online using Internet Banking or Debit Card or Credit Card (Service Charges for payment of fees will be borne by the candidates).
How To Apply: Eligible Interested candidates should submit online applications through RRC Eastern Railway Portal (rrcer.org) from 10th July 2024. The candidates must upload scanned copy of Photograph, Signature and LTI, self- attested certificates in proof of date of birth, education/technical qualifications and caste i.e. SC/ST/OBC/EBC/EWS, income certificate, self-declarations pertaining to the OBC candidates and minority community candidates, disability certificate.
The closing date and time of online applications is 09/08/2024 up to 18:00 Hours.
