IAF AFCAT Age Limit:
Flying Branch and NCC Special Entry): 20 to 24 years as on 1st July 2025 [i.e. born between 02 July 2001 to 1st July 2005 (both dates inclusive)]
Ground Duty (Technical & Non Technical): 20 to 26 years as on 1st July 2025 [i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 1st July 2005 (both dates inclusive)]
IAF AFCAT Salary: ₹ 56100 – 177500/- Level 10 (Flying Officer) (MSP ₹ 15500/-)
IAF AFCAT Entry Educational Qualifications:
AFCAT Entry (Flying Branch): Graduation with minimum three years degree course in any discipline with a minimum 60% Marks (OR) B.E. / B.Tech Degree with a minimum 60% Marks (OR) Candidates who have cleared Section A & B examination of Associate Membership of Institution of Engineers (India) or Aeronautical Society of India with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent.
AFCAT Entry (Ground Duty Technical Branch): 10+2 Physics and Maths with 04 years Degree or Post Graduate in Engineering / Technology.
AFCAT Entry (Ground Duty Non-Technical Branches): Administration and Logistics – Degree in any discipline, Accounts – B.Com degree, Education – MBA / MCA or MA / M.Sc. Degree.
NCC Special Entry (Flying Branch): 10+2 Physics and Maths with Graduates with minimum three years degree course in any discipline with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent OR B.E. / B.Tech Degree with a minimum 60% marks or equivalent. Meteorology – Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream.
Meteorology: Passed 10+2 and Post Graduate Degree in any Science stream/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Geography/ Computer Applications/ Environmental Science/ Applied Physics/ Oceanography/ Meteorology/ Agricultural Meteorology/ Ecology & Environment/ Geo-physics/ Environmental Biology with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate of all papers put together.
IAF AFCAT Examination Fee: A Non refundable fee of ₹ 250/- for AFCAT entry may be paid online payment mode. Not applicable for NCC Special entry and Meteorology.

Eligible Interested candidates apply online through AFCAT CDAC official website (careerindianairforce.cdac.in OR afcat.cdac.in) from 30th May 2024.
The candidates should enter basic / communication and qualification details.
The last date for submission of online applications is 28/06/2024 (Friday) up to 23:30 Hours.
