Indian Coast Guard Navik Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 22 years.
Born between 01 Marc 2003 to 28th February 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST and 03 years for OBC (Non Creamy) candidates.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Pay Scale and other Benefits
Navik (General Duty): Basic pay of ₹ 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
Yantrik: Basic pay ₹ 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, you will be paid Yantrik pay @ ₹ 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Eligibility Criteria
Navik (General Duty): 10+2 passed with Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Council of Boards for School Education (COBSE).
Yantrik: Class 10th passed recognized by COBSE and Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/Power) Engineering of duration 03 or 04 years approved by AICTE. (OR) Class 10th & Class 12th passed recognized by COBSE + Diploma in Electrical/ Mechanical / Electronics/ Telecommunication (Radio/ Power) Engineering of duration 02 or 03 years approved by AICTE.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Medical Standards
Medical examination will be conducted by authorized Military Doctors as per medical standard prescribed in current regulations applicable to Enrolled Personnel on entry.
Height: Minimum height is 157 cms. Reduction in height for candidates from hilly areas and tribal areas will be in accordance with the Central Govt. orders.
Chest: Should be well proportioned. Minimum expansion 5 cms.
Weight: Proportionate to height and age +10 percentage acceptable.
Hearing: Normal.
Visual Standard: 6/36 (Better Eye) and 6/36 (Worse Eye).
Tattoo: Permanent body tattoos are not permitted on any part of the body.
Indian Coast Guard Navik Selection Process
Stage I: Computer Based Online Examination.
Stage II: Assessment/ Adaptability Test, Physical Fitness Test, Documents Verification, Initial Medicals Examination.
Stage III: Documents Verification, Final Medicals at INS Chilka.
Stage IV: The candidates undergoing training at INS Chilka are to submit all original documents during Stage-III and verification of all original documents through Boards/ Universities/ State government will be carried out by Indian Coast Guard.
Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2024 Examination Fee
₹ 300/- for General / OBC category candidates.
No fee for SC / ST category candidates.
The fee made through online mode by using net banking or by using Visa/ Master/ Maestro/ Rupay Credit/ Debit Card/ UPI.
How to Apply Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2024
Eligible candidates may apply online for ICG Recruitment 2024 only through Indian Coast Guard official website (joinindiancoastguard.cdac.in) from 13th June 2024.
The candidates will be required to upload documents in two phases. Few documents (Photograph, Signature, Left Hand Thumb Impression Image, DoB Proof, Identity Proof etc.) are required at the online application stage and few are required to be uploaded if shortlisted for Stage II.
The last date for registration of online applications is 03/07/2024 up to 23:30 Hours.
