Railway Paramedical Age Limit
Minimum 18 years and Maximum 30 years. Age relaxation as per Govt. rules.
Railway Paramedical Pay Scales
Dietician/ Staff Nurse: Level 7 ₹ 44900/-
Dental Hygienist/ Dialysis Technician/ Extension Educator / Health and Malaria Inspector Grade III / Lab Superintendent Grade III/ Perfusionist/ Physiotherapist: Level 6 ₹ 35400/-
Optometrist/ ECG Technician/ Lady Health Visitor: Level 4 ₹ 25500/-
Pharmacist Grade III/ Radiographer/ Speech Therapist:Level 5 ₹ 29200/-
Lab Assistant Grade II: Level 3 ₹ 21700/-
Railway Paramedical Eligibility Criteria
DIETICIAN: B.Sc. Degree in Science with Post Graduate Diploma in Dietetics (OR) B.Sc. Degree in Home Science plus M.Sc. Home Science (Food and Nutrition).
STAFF NURSE: Certificate as Registered Nurse and Midwife having passed a 3-year course in General Nursing and Midwifery (OR) B.Sc. Nursing.
DENTAL HYGIENIST: (1) Degree in Science (Biology). (2) Diploma/Certificate Course (2 years) in Dental Hygiene. (3) Registered with the Dental Council of India as Dental Hygienist. (4) 2 years experience as Dental Hygienist.
DIALYSIS TECHNICIAN: B.Sc. Degree with Diploma in Haemodialysis (OR) 2 years satisfactory in-house training/experience in Haemodialysis work in a reputed institution.
EXTENSION EDUCATOR: Graduation in Sociology/Social Work/Community Education disciplines with a 2-year diploma in Health Education.
HEALTH AND MALARIA INSPECTOR GRADE III: B.Sc. degree having studied Chemistry as Main/Optional subject in any branch of Chemistry while undertaking the course. One year Diploma of Health/Sanitary Inspector (OR) One year National Trade Certificate (NTC) in Health Sanitary Inspector.
LAB SUPERINTENDENT GRADE III: B.Sc with Biochemistry/Microbiology/Life Science/B.Sc with Chemistry and Biology as main or as optional/subsidiary subjects or equivalent plus Diploma in Medical Lab Technology (DMLT) or equivalent (OR) B.Sc in Medical Technology (Laboratory).
OPTOMETRIST: B.Sc in Optometry or Diploma in Ophthalmic Technician (the course should be of 3 to 4 years duration). The candidate should have registration with the concerned council/licensing body.
PERFUSIONIST: B.Sc with Diploma in Perfusion Technology (OR) B.Sc and three years experience as Cardio Pulmonary Pump Technician in a reputed recognized hospital.
PHYSIOTHERAPIST: (1) Bachelor’s Degree in Physiotherapy. (2) 2 years practical experience in Physiotherapy.
PHARMACIST GRADE III: 10+2 in Science or its equivalent, with Diploma in Pharmacy from recognized institution and registered as Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948 (OR) Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (B.Pharma) from a recognized university or equivalent and registered as a Pharmacist under the Pharmacy Act, 1948.
RADIOGRAPHER: 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry and Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2 years course) from a recognized institute. Science graduates with a Diploma in Radiography/X-Ray Technician/Radiodiagnosis Technology (2 years course) shall be preferred.
SPEECH THERAPIST: (1) B.Sc Degree and Diploma in Audio and Speech Therapy. (2) 2 years experience in the related field.
ECG TECHNICIAN: 10+2/Graduation in Science having Certificate/Diploma/Degree in ECG Laboratory Technology/Cardiology/Cardiology Technician/Cardiology Techniques.
LADY HEALTH VISITOR: Matric with 12th class pass with multipurpose workers course.
LAB ASSISTANT GRADE II: 10+2 stage in Science plus Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) (OR) Certificate Course in Medical Lab with Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT).
Railway Paramedical Selection Process
Railway Paramedical selection will be made through a Single Stage Computer-Based Test (CBT). There will be negative marking for incorrect answers in the CBT. One-third of the marks allotted for each question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Railway Paramedical Application Fee
The following fee details are as per the previous RRB Paramedical notification:
₹250/- for SC/ ST/ Ex-servicemen/ PwBDs/ Female/ Transgender/ Minorities/ Economically Backward Class.
₹500/- for all other candidates.
The fee should be paid through online payment mode.
How to Apply Railway Paramedical Recruitment 2024
Eligible candidates should apply online through any one of the RRB Recruitment Portals from the opening date of registration. Candidates can also apply online through the RRB Apply Online Portal.
Candidates are required to fill in personal information, contact details, and Aadhaar verification. They must upload a recent color photograph, signature, community certificate, etc.
The final step is to pay the application fee and submit your online application before the closing date.
