RBI Grade B Officer Age Limit
Minimum 21 years and Maximum 30 years.
Age Relaxation – 05 years for SC / ST, 03 years for OBC and Maximum 05 years for Ex-Serviceman & Ex-employees.
RBI Grade B Officer Salary
Selected Candidates will draw a starting basic pay of ₹ 55,200/- p.m. in the scale of ₹ 55200- 2850(9)- 80850-EB- 2850 (2) – 86550- 3300(4)- 99750 (16 years) applicable to Officers in Grade B.
RBI Grade B Officer Eligibility Criteria
Officers (General): A minimum of 60% marks (50% in case of SC/ ST/ PwBD) or an equivalent grade in Bachelor’s degree as well as in 12th (or Diploma or equivalent) and 10th Standard examinations. The minimum qualifying percentage or an equivalent grade for the Bachelor’s degree will be in aggregate for all semesters / years.
Officers (DEPR): A Master’s Degree in Economics / Econometrics / Quantitative Economics / Mathematical Economics / Integrated Economics Course/ Finance, with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute; (OR) PGDM/ MBA Finance with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute; (OR) Master’s Degree in Economics in any of the sub-categories of economics i.e. agricultural/ business/ developmental/ applied, etc., with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters /years from a recognized Indian or Foreign University /Institute.
Officers (DSIM): A Master’s Degree in Statistics/ Mathematical Statistics/ Mathematical Economics/ Econometrics/ Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Kharagpur/ Applied Statistics & Informatics from IIT-Bombay with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years; (OR) Master’s Degree in Mathematics with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters / years and one year post graduate diploma in Statistics or related subjects from an Institute of repute; (OR) M. Stat. Degree of Indian Statistical Institute with a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate of all semesters / years; (OR) Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA) jointly offered by ISI Kolkata, IIT Kharagpur and IIM Calcutta with a minimum of 55% marks or equivalent grade in aggregate of all semesters/ years.

RBI Grade B Officer Phase I Exam Syllabus 2024
The Phase I online examination comprise a single Paper (Objective Type) for 200 marks and a total time of 120 minutes will be given for answering. The Candidates have to secure minimum marks separately for each test as well as in aggregate, as may be prescribed by the Board. The Phase I Paper will consist tests of

RBI Grade B Officer Phase II Exam Syllabus 2024
The RBI Grade B Phase–II online examination will consist of three papers as under:-
Paper-I: Economic and Social Issues (50% Objective Type, 50% Descriptive Type) (100 Marks)
Paper-II: English (Writing Skills) (100 Marks)
Paper III: General Finance and Management (50% Objective Type, 50% Descriptive Type) (100 Marks)

How to Apply RBI Grade B Officer Recruitment 2024
Upon the release of the RBI Grade B Official Notification, eligible candidates must complete the online application process through the RBI Online Registration portal starting from 25th July 2024.
Applicants are required to provide basic details and upload relevant documents (Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and a handwritten declaration).
The closing date for online application registration is 16/08/2024 till 6:00 PM.
All details regarding the selection process for the posts are outlined in the respective recruitment notification.
Upon selection, candidates will receive an Offer of Appointment from the RBI Bank.
Upon acceptance of the terms in the Offer of Appointment, candidates must fulfill specific formalities, including a medical examination, Police Verification Report, Referee Report, and Employer’s Report.
Once these formalities are completed, candidates will receive the Appointment Letter and must report to the Bank accordingly.
